Many congratulations to our talented BGS Speech and Drama students who enjoyed incredible success at last weekend’s Milton Keynes Festival of the Arts.
Established in 1968 the Festival of the Arts is the largest and longest established annual performance festival in Milton Keynes providing an encouraging platform for amateur performers of all ages. BGS entered a number of performers into numerous speech and drama programmes including Verse Duet, Verse Speaking and Dramatic Duologues.
Mrs Redford (Head of Speech and Drama) said: “BGS had a triumphant weekend in the Speech and Drama classes at the Milton Keynes Festival of the Arts. The students performed their work with confidence and charm. This was a wonderful opportunity to perform at last for a live audience in a magnificent setting.”
The students will now be setting their sights on the Bedfordshire Festival of Music, Speech and Drama, which takes place at the Bedford Corn Exchange from 5th- 12th March.
