Miss Dawson (Biology Teacher, CAS & Service Coordinator)

At the beginning of the Summer Term, the newly formed Service Team will begin fundraising for our new school charity, so as a final event to raise money for our current charity, Bedford Women’s Centre, the outgoing Service Team arranged a pizza and games evening for the Sixth Form. 

The evening also provided an opportunity for the students to have fun and relax after an incredibly busy, half term. The students enjoyed Just Dance, Mario Kart on the Wii, Twister and table tennis as well as more traditional board games, and an extremely competitive musical chairs tournament fueled by pick and mix (winners – Saara Bhatti and Mary English, Upper Sixth).

The final total raised was £ £154.15, which will go towards educating and supporting women in Bedford affected by domestic abuse.
