Mrs Forster (Year 5 Teacher)

On Wednesday, Year 5 had a wonderfully wizarding time at the Warner Brothers Studio Tour, London. 

Everyone was quickly absorbed by the incredible level of detail and skill that went into making the eight Harry Potter films. From the sets, props, make-up and artistry, there was something there to inspire everyone - including the adults! Some highlights were dancing with Dobby and standing in front of a fire breathing dragon as it lunged towards us.

The final exhibit was particularly astonishing; many of the pupils used the interactive displays to understand the building process and logistics of this life size model. This was a perfect way to consolidate our learning on new digital media and to see how expressing yourself creatively can be explored in so many different ways.
