Huge congratulations to our GCSE students who have achieved phenomenal results with 70% of all entries being graded 9-7.

We are so proud of the students; the last few years have been an extraordinary time for this cohort. They have demonstrated incredible resilience and have developed into wonderful students and are now ready to embrace the next step in their educational journey.

A big thank you to parents of this cohort and our staff for their incredible support; you have all gone that extra mile throughout these challenging years. It was a delight to see the appreciation from our students and their families today to the staff at BGS.

Miss Gray, Head of Years 10 and 11 reflected: “The students have been extremely focused over the last two years. Their results are a credit to their sheer determination and hard work. I look forward to seeing them move on to the next stage of their education and wish them all the very best of luck for the future.”

Mrs Gibson, Headmistress commented: “I am absolutely delighted for our Year 11 students receiving their results today; they have worked so hard and overcome such challenging times. It was wonderful to see their happy faces today and they celebrated each other’s successes. I look forward to welcoming many of them back into the Sixth Form.”

We hope our Year 11s celebrate in style and we are looking forward to welcoming them into Sixth Form in September.
