In Year 4 Science, the girls have been investigating different materials and the changes of state between solids, liquids and gases.
On Wednesday 15th May, all the classes conducted an exciting chocolate melting experiment in the Science labs. They tested which type of chocolate (dark, white, or milk) would melt first and explored the reasons behind the differences in melting times.
The girls meticulously recorded the times it took for each chocolate type to fully melt, documenting their observations on their iPads. They also experimented with creating time-lapse videos to capture the melting process of the chocolate in detail.
This hands-on activity not only enhanced their understanding of scientific principles but also encouraged the development of their observational and recording skills.
