We’re delighted to announce that Eva Jackson (Year 8) won a silver medal in the 12/13 age group at the British Obstacle Course Race Junior Championships in June 2024.
The race, which took place over a 3km course, featured 45 different obstacles, including rope climbs, barbed wire crawls, A-frames and a variety of rig traverses.
Finishing second, Eva has now qualified for the OCR European Championships in 2025. Although she also qualified for the World Championships this year, which were held in Costa Rica in August, it proved too far to travel at short notice.
Reflecting on her experience, Eva said: “The race was so much fun, I loved it. It really pushed me out of my comfort zone to try something new and I'll definitely be doing more of it. I can’t wait for the European Championships!”
We are very proud of Eva’s achievement and wish her the best of luck as she prepares for the European Championships next year.
