In Year 3, we’ve been exploring number lines and missing numbers in an exciting and hands-on way.
The girls were challenged with a blank number line using a border roll as the canvas, and together they applied their number knowledge to place numbers accurately.
First, we worked as a whole class to organise the missing numbers, using their reasoning and collaborative skills. Then the girls worked in pairs to complete their own example, choosing the intervals between given numbers.
This practical activity gave every student the opportunity to actively participate, take ownership of their learning, and deepen their understanding of number sequences. It was a fun and engaging lesson for all!
