By Mrs Schofield (Head of Year 4)
We are thrilled to share the exciting news that Salma from 4S recently had the incredible opportunity to meet multi-Olympic and World medallist swimmer Adam Peaty at the AP Race Clinics, held at the iconic London Aquatic Centre.
Salma took part in the 50-metre breaststroke race and impressed everyone by finishing in 4th place! Before the race, Salma had the chance to high-five Adam Peaty and other Olympians, who cheered her on and gave her the inspiration she needed.
Reflecting on her experience, Salma said: "I was really nervous, but in the race, I felt good as breaststroke is my favourite. It was very exciting to meet some Olympians. I would like to be an Olympic swimmer one day!"
We’re all incredibly proud of Salma’s achievement and can’t wait to see what she accomplishes next. Keep swimming, Salma – your Olympic dreams are within reach.
