As part of our work with Apple, on Wednesday 17th May we hosted 15 visitors from schools in the local and regional area who wanted to find out how the iPad can be used effectively in education.

Our guests listened to an inspiring presentation on the future of education from BGS Headmistress Miss MacKenzie. Mr Potter and Miss Davies followed this by explaining the positive impact of iBooks and iTunes U and how they are utilised across the school.

After the presentations, the guests embarked on a learning walk across the Junior and Senior Schools, where the girls explained how the iPad is helping them have a modern and flexible education. The day was described as “stunningly good” by one guest and several remarked that they had never seen the iPad so well embedded into educational practice.
