Sixth Form MFL

Miss Stuart (MFL Teacher)

This term, the Cinéfilles Club has met twice to discuss two contrasting films, Le Scaphandre et le Papillon, critically acclaimed but less successful at the box office, and Intouchables, a hit at the box of office but less well received by film critics.

As always, we start by watching the trailer for each film to see how effective the students thought it was. We then look at some interesting facts from behind the scenes and discuss the themes, ideas and techniques contained within the films. It is always interesting to hear what the students have to say.

Why not translate Anna’s words - give it a go!
