BGS alumna Esther Platt visited the School at the end of April to pass on her advice to Oxbridge candidates and Lower Sixth Theory of Knowledge girls.
Esther, who left the School last year, to study at Keble College, Oxford, stressed to Oxbridge candidates to pick a subject they were really passionate about and not to be afraid of considering other universities or feeling that Oxbridge wasn’t for them.
Then speaking to Lower Sixth IB students in their Theory of Knowledge lesson, Esther explained how some questions couldn’t always be answered, it’s impossible to define religion and to avoid over-generalising about the nature of religion when considering knowledge systems in Theory of Knowledge.
