On Friday 24th January, we were delighted to welcome back twins, Philippa Queenan and Jacky Lane (DAHS 1982), to Bedford Girls' School for a school lunch and a friendly game of table tennis.

The pair, who were passionate table tennis players during their time at school, reminisced fondly about playing the sport with friends during break times. Their enthusiasm for table tennis, and its many health benefits, remains strong to this day.

In a generous gesture, Philippa and Jacky recently made a kind gift to the school, allowing us to acquire additional tables for both indoor and outdoor play, as well as bats and balls. This thoughtful donation enhances our facilities and provides students with even more opportunities to enjoy the sport and stay active. We are grateful to them for their support and for helping us continue to offer a range of activities for our students to enjoy.
