Bedford Girls’ School is celebrating record GCSE results, with 72% of all entries achieving A/A*.  

Over a third of the year group were awarded ten A/A*s, with eight girls earning ten straight A*s. 

Miss Jo MacKenzie, Headmistress of Bedford Girls’ School said: “We are thrilled with these results which reflect the hard work and intelligent application of the girls.  They are testament to exceptional teaching, which has encouraged the girls to work independently, to question and inquire.

“The girls can now embark on their Sixth Form studies with confidence, as they have developed a strong set of skills which will help them manage the challenges of the International Baccalaureate Diploma and A Levels. I look forward to seeing them flourish.”
