I joined Dame Alice Harpur School as a teacher in 2008 (and was a student at Bedford High School!), and have enjoyed seeing the school flourish into BGS and combine all of the best elements of the legacy schools.

I worked in the legal industry both for private practise and the local authority. I now teach Economics and Business and have found that my commercial background has greatly informed the subject teaching.

Our community is incredibly friendly, kind and supportive; staff and students are outward looking, progressive and genuinely live our School values, which provides everyone with a sense of common purpose.
