I joined the BGS community in 2012 having previously been Head of Art at Dame Alice Harpur School.

I have a BA (Hons) in Fine Art, with my area of interest being Instillation and Conceptual Art. On completing my degree, I undertook Postgraduate training in secondary education, starting my teaching career in 1999 at Redborne Upper School, where I progressed to Second in the Art Department and Assistant Head of Year. On leaving Redborne in 2006 I moved to Dame Alice Harpur School where alongside my teaching, I gained an MA in Education.

The BGS community is  an amazingly supportive environment to work in, where there are high expectations of all to always strive to try their best.
