After leaving BGS, Matilda completed a business studies course at The Bedford Sixth Form, before pursuing a career in property in London. After starting out in the administration side of the business, Matilda now works as a Sales Negotiator, in Letchworth Garden City. 

Matilda said: "Having been in the industry for almost nine years, I have most certainly faced a lot of male dominance and competition. I have also been in the firing line of questions of my competency due to suffering from Endometriosis, a chronic health condition which is classed in the UK as a disability, but which is rarely spoken about often dismissed as ‘a women's problem’. I use these challenges to apply myself and prove my worth within such a fast paced and competitive industry. I show that even with the issues I face, I am successful and able."
