I started working at BGS in summer 2022. I previously worked for a large multi-academy trust but wanted to focus my role within a smaller team. 

I got a good feel for BGS when I came in for the interview and this continued when I joined.  The school’s focus on technology and the future of learning makes it an exciting place to work; new ideas and ways of working are welcomed by the Senior Leadership Team who are approachable and passionate about pushing BGS forward. 

There’s a strong sense of community within the school with a variety of training opportunities and events which are open to all, my new favourite pastime has fast become the barista-style coffee at the new Sixth Form Café, Chequers.
