After completing my undergraduate degree, I undertook a PGCE and started my first teaching job in a coeducational state school in Watford. After five years, I moved to Haileybury in Hertford, where I was Head of Biology until going part time after having my children. After 10 years there I arrived at BGS in 2016.
As Director of Sixth Form, I have the opportunity to work with our students from both academic and pastoral perspectives. Helping them navigate these important years of A Level and IB study, developing employability skills and getting to know them as individuals along the way.
We are incredibly lucky at BGS to teach such enthusiastic, open minded and engaging students. Their energy and sense of fun is one of my favourite things about BGS.
