Rosie Smedley and Kat Reilly (Year 11)

The annual Open Mic Night took place on the 15th of November at Bedford School, bringing together performers from all the Harpur Trust schools.

The evening took place at Bedford Schools' Recital Hall, and for us especially, nerves were flying high due to the immense talent of the other young musicians. It was a lovely evening, and it was brilliant to see the vast contrast of performing acts from the Bedford Modern School band dressed up in black tie and sunglasses, to the Fijian Prince performing his newest mixtape.

The evening was a huge success, collaborating with Bedford Schools' Music Department in the future will help widen opportunities for us to become better musicians. To be amongst such talented musicians was inspiring.
