Whole School Community

During the month of Ramadan, many Muslims around the world fast from dawn until sunset. At the time of breaking fast, families and communities come together for Iftar, the evening meal when the fast is broken with delicious and copious dishes.

In this spirit, members of our wonderful community gathered for a memorable Iftar evening on Wednesday 19th April. Organised by The Association and the South Asian Society, all guests (whether fasting or of a different faith) gathered in the Dining Hall to break fast together, share stories and celebrate differences. View photos from the evening here.

The BGS community have taken their time to share their thoughts about the teachings behind the holy month and the Iftar event, click here.
