Holly Tutt (Upper Sixth) continues to impress on the slopes as she competes at the highest level of alpine skiing.

A member of the Alpine Performance Racing Team, she recently took part in the English Alpine Championships in Bormio, Italy, from Wednesday 13th to Monday 17th February. Organised by Snowsport England, the competition is the most significant event in English Alpine ski racing.

Holly delivered outstanding performances, securing first place in the U18 British and U18 English categories in the Federation of International Skiing (FIS) Giant Slalom. She repeated this achievement in the FIS NJR (U21 and U18) Giant Slalom and the FIS National Junior Race (U21 & U18) Slalom, also achieving a significant personal best in FIS seed points. She placed within the top five British skiers overall in all her races. However, in the FIS Super-G and the FIS Slalom, she was unfortunately unable to finish.

Reflecting on her experience, Holly said: “I had a brilliant time at the 2025 English Champs, managing to perform well. I’m most excited about my slalom PB that I scored on the last day!”

Holly’s ability to balance the demands of competitive skiing with her academic studies is a testament to her commitment and perseverance. With the support of the PE Department and Sixth Form, she continues to excel both on and off the slopes.
