Senior School

By Miss Gray (Head of Years 10 and 11)

On Friday 5th May, the Year 11 cohort spent their final school day before study leave started at Alton Towers. The purpose of the trip was to allow the students some well-deserved down time before the start of their GCSE examinations.

The students spent the day with their friends enjoying many of the thrills and attractions that the park has to offer. It was a great chance to let off steam before they start their examinations and lovely for staff to see them all enjoying themselves.

As Head of Year, I am extremely proud of all the year groups and would like to wish them all the very best for their examinations and hope they remember to balance their study and rest over the next few weeks.

The next time we will see the whole year group will be at the much-anticipated prom, which takes place at BGS on Thursday 13th July 7.00pm – 11.00pm. The Prom Committee has been working extremely hard over the last couple of months to ensure the event is one for them all to remember!
