On Friday 7th March, 12 Years 9 to Upper Sixth dance students had the joy of experiencing Move It 2025. Move It is an annual dance event held at London ExCel every spring. This year, they were celebrating their 20th anniversary, and the atmosphere was electric, kicking off with the biggest flash mob we have ever seen, performed by the students of Bird College.
Our students explored the exhibition stalls, browsed the latest dance gear and discussed all things dance with some of the country's leading dance conservatoires and training schools. The main stage was filled throughout the day with incredible performances from professional dancers, dance students from the conservatoires in attendance and young performers from around the world. We all left feeling inspired and excited for our own upcoming dance show.
Another highlight was watching some of our students take part in an Afrobeat dance class at the end of the day, a brilliant way to celebrate their own dance talents and expand their movement repertoire in a professional setting. It was a fantastic day for all.
