Our Year 7 students, together with their peers from Bedford Prep School, took part in an exciting challenge on Friday 7th March, developing innovative solutions to real-world global issues.

The afternoon was filled with energy and creativity as students worked in mixed teams to tackle challenges ranging from food waste to access to clean water. It was inspiring to see them present their ideas with confidence, demonstrating excellent teamwork, problem-solving skills and original thinking.

Among the successful ideas were apps designed to raise awareness of food waste and solar-powered benches providing renewable energy.

We are grateful to Bedford Prep School for partnering with us in this enriching experience, and we are proud of the enthusiasm and commitment shown by all our students.

 “It was a great experience. Our team worked really well together, and we enjoyed coming up with ideas.”

“At first, I was nervous about presenting, but it turned out to be really fun, and I felt more confident as we went along.”
