BGS secured a place in the SNS Shield final four, held at Loughborough University on Thursday 13th March. The students played their semi-final against Rossall School, winning 28-19. A nervous start saw the first quarter end 6-5, but a dominant second quarter extended the lead to 18-7, firmly establishing control of the game.

In the final, BGS faced Canon Slade and had a challenging start, trailing 0-5 in the opening minutes. However, by the end of the first quarter, the score stood at 6-11. After regrouping, the team drew the second quarter and won the third, closing the gap to just three points going into the final quarter. Despite a strong effort, Canon Slade asserted their dominance in the closing minutes, securing a 32-23 victory.

The U13A team has had an outstanding season, beginning with a trip to Condover Hall, where they qualified for the cup and finished in the top six. They went on to reach the SNS final four, finishing as runners-up, and also claimed victory in the U13 county tournament.
