A highlight on the BGS calendar, the 158th Bedford Regatta returns tomorrow (11th May 2024).

We always have a strong presence to cheer on our enthusiastic rowers on their home stretch of river. The Alumnae and Friends of Bedford Girls' School Rowing Club (FBGSRC) will be situated together by the Suspension Bridge, serving delicious refreshments throughout the day and everyone is invited to join us. It is an all-day event – so please feel free to pop by and bring your picnic blankets and deckchairs. Spread the word and show your support for our rowers, we would be delighted to see you.

Our first race is at 8.32am, and the last race is at 7.18pm. There will be a race timetable printed out for you to follow our crews throughout the day.

We cannot wait to hear the infamous “BGS Roar” from the banks of the River Ouse this weekend.
