The Drama Department’s stunning production of Anything Goes earnt rave reviews last weekend.

Held over two nights (Friday and Saturday) in the Assembly Hall, the production took place aboard the S.S. American, with an impressive set assembled (pictured).

With music by Cole Porter, the show is based around the S.S. American as it sails from New York to England in the early 1930s. A romantic comedy, it contains many much loved musical numbers in addition to the famous title song. These include You’re the Top, Friendship and I Get a Kick Out of You.

Mrs Perren, Head of Drama, said: “The girls and boys from Bedford School did themselves proud. Their hard work really did pay off as the feedback we had from the audience at both performances was amazing.”
