It’s been a busy start to the New Year for talented alpine skier Holly Tutt (Year 7), who claimed Gold, Silver and Bronze medals at the Ambition Championships in Austria (Wednesday 2nd – Monday 7th January 2019).

Holly won Gold in the U12 pro slalom, Silver in U12 giant slalom and Bronze in U12 slalom against an international field.

Holly said: “I was really pleased to start the season off with a win. However, I think that I can go even faster next week at the Welsh Championships. I am competing in two races at the event and have three days' training. I really need to make my first runs the best because second runs always end up with the bad snow.”

Ambition Racing is recognised as one of GBR's leading alpine ski racing academies. Founded in 2007, Ambition Racing has been responsible for producing a number of Britain's top alpine ski racers for over a decade. Holly is currently in her third season with the Ambition team, spending around 10-12 weeks a year training with them.

Holly has a busy alpine schedule in 2019, beginning with the Welsh Alpine Championships in Champery, Switzerland (21st-25th January), the English Alpine Championships in Bormio, Italy (16th-23rd February) and the British Alpine Championships in Tignes, France (8th-12th April).
