Last Thursday evening, we hosted our annual London Alumnae Drinks event in the impressive surroundings of the German Gymnasium, ideally located for both our city dwellers and those travelling to and from St. Pancras. A lovely evening was enjoyed by all, as we welcomed alumnae and former staff from DAHSA, BHS and BGS. Many new connections were made between members, school stories swapped and business links made, and we thoroughly enjoyed catching up on all their latest news.
On Monday 10th June, we will also be holding the yearly Work The Room event for our students in the Lower Sixth. This is an invaluable event facilitated by parent and alumna, Mrs Kate Whitlock (1993), which focuses the importance of confident networking skills in a business style environment.
The girls attend a networking workshop in the afternoon and thereafter they practise their newly learnt skills in a drinks reception style environment.
