We are delighted to announce that talented water polo athlete Ella Cotton (Upper Sixth) was recently selected to for the Great Britain U19 water polo team.

Ella, who also represents Coventry Ladies Water Polo Club, wore her GB colours last Saturday in a fixture against the U17 GB team.

Ella reflected on the match and her GB selection, she said: “We won the match against the U17 GB team 12-7. It was a very close match to begin with, but after the second half, we pushed our way forward, and we were all really happy with our first team performance. We now know what we have to work on during our summer training camps.

“I feel very overwhelmed and pleased to be selected for the U19 GB team, and knowing that all my hard work has paid off over the years. I just need to keep working hard to keep my place in the team.”
