We’re delighted to announce that many of our talented hockey players have been selected to represent England Hockey in various pathway age groups. 

A record seven BGS players have been selected for the U15 England Hockey Performance Centre (Northwood) for the 2020/2021 season. Following consistent performances at County level, the players shone at the Performance Centre Assessment days. Congratulations to Isabel Jackson, Lara Wildon, Lauren Whitlock, Natasha Miller, Gabriela Woodroffe-Gomez, Megan Howlett (all Year 10) and Molly Lincoln (Year 9). Maddie Axford (Upper Sixth) has once again been selected to represent the England Hockey U18 team. Unfortunately, Maddie was unable to play for England U18 over the summer due to COVID cancelling all their tournaments over the summer. However, she continues to represent her club, Southgate HC U18, and was recently crowned Tier-1 Hockey Champion. Read more here.
