Mrs Lugsden (Head of Art and Textiles)

Now in its third year, the Young Artists’ Summer Show is a free, open submission exhibition for students aged 5 - 19 studying in the UK and British schools overseas. Artworks are judged by artists and arts professionals with selected artworks displayed online and on-site at the Royal Academy of Arts.

This year we were pleased that a number of students from Years 6 to Upper Sixth submitted work for this show. A wide range of themes, approaches and medias were used, from clay modelling to digital art. The standard of work was super and we are incredibly proud of each any every submission.
