Throughout year, The Diversity and Inclusion Group have been interested in incorporating more diversity into BGS, one of the ways we thought we could do this is by food. The way we would do this is by creating an online cookbook of Years 7 and 8 student and staff cultural dishes, available to all the community, to have a go at making or cooking. Researching the idea of diversity in food and dishes further, I have had the opportunity to interview alumna, Meetali Parekh (BHS 1998), a future food blogger and journalist, who specialises in Gujarati food.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming Meetali into school at a later date for a cookery demonstration!
