We are so proud to see award winning duo, Asha (Year 9) and Jia Kirkpatrick (Year 7) featured in H&M’s role model campaign.

Through the new initiative, H&M will bring forward, champion and tell the stories of young changemakers from around the world. The company’s goal is to not only showcase the impact children are making in the world, but also help support their causes using the proceeds from a new line of more sustainable clothing inspired by young role models, which is being developed by the H&M Kids design team.

In early 2020, the sisters made an impression on Kellogg's UK & Ireland bosses after they created a petition to save endangered orangutans, which has gained nearly 900,000 signatures.

H&M said: “Asha and Jia stood out for us because they saw a problem and didn’t see their age or the size of the company they petitioned as a reason not to do something about it. They recognised the strength of their voices – we find it admirable for such young people to understand that. We also love how they are doing this together as sisters.” Read more here.

It is fantastic to see the students continuing to use their voices to make such a positive change globally. You can sign the petition here.
