It was celebrations for our talented BGS equestrians who shone at the National Schools Equestrian Association Championships Plate event during the weekend, where five of our riders brought home wins at Keysoe.

On Saturday, the 90cm Team were crowned champions after two rounds of faultless show jumping. The following day, the riders competed in Arena Eventing where they jumped a round of show jumps, immediately followed by cross country type fences. Imi Bradbury (Year 11) put in a fantastic performance with Pongo and claimed the 100cm Arena Evening Class title.

The team have now qualified to ride in the final at the prestigious Hickstead All England venue next summer.

Many congratulations to the following students and their horses:

90cm Team - Emily Armitage (Lower Sixth) and Belle, Holly Maudlin (Year 9) and Maia, Ellie Mullan (Year 10) and Mulberry and Isabelle Perry (Year 10) and Queenie.

100cm - Imi Bradbury (Year 11) and Pongo.
