On Monday 7th March, the U14 County Lacrosse Tournament was held at Cople Fields. Our two teams faced tough opposition, but played extremely well to reach the finals with each team only losing one game on route. 

The U14Bs were drawn against Berkhamsted Collegiate in their final. At the final whistle it was 1-1, which resulted in extra time. BGS scored immediately and managed to hold onto possession to ensure a final score of 2-1 and claimed victory.

The U14As met St Albans High School in the final and from the first whistle out played the opposition. The final score was 6-2 to BGS.

What a fabulous afternoon of Lacrosse and what a great set of results. BGS are now the U14A and U14B County Lacrosse Champions 2022.

Our lacrosse players are now training hard and looking forward to the prestigious National Schools Lacrosse Championships (19th – 22nd March 2022), which take place at the Aldershot Garrison Sports Centre.
