Whole School Sport

Mrs Mason-McLeod (Director of Sport)

On Wednesday there was huge excitement building across the whole Senior School as we could finally all come together and compete for the Senior School Sports Day House Cup!

The students jumped, threw and ran with all their might and the buzz around Bedford International Athletics Stadium was electric. There were jokes a plenty from our very own Miss Davies in the announcer’s box and this along with the House chants and sheer excitement from the students cheering was a delight for all to see. Thank you to all of the participants, the staff, parents and families for making this such a special occasion. A few senior records were also broken:

Chloe Howe – Shot Put – 12.13m (previous record 10.05m)

Etienne Maughan – 100m – 11.87s (previous record 12.57s)

Sophie Forbes-Laird – 200m – 26.34s (previous record 27.31s)

Congratulations to Franklin for winning both the Intermediate and Senior Cups, Nightingale for winning the Junior Cup and Hepburn for being crowned overall winners! View the final results here
