By Mrs Martin (Head of Year 3)
Using their Inquirer skills, Year 3 uncovered some of the clues from the past when a brown envelope filled with key events and people was discovered.
In teams they were challenged to think about ways that these could be organised, why it might be important to order them and what the pictures might give them evidence towards. Sharing their knowledge and working as a group helped the girls to establish key terms such as, Chronology, Eras, BC and AD as well as understanding of how much bias we can have when presented with evidence.
We are really excited to be looking at some significant individuals in groups this week to understand what they have done and why they are important to us before we move on to looking at how people are remembered and a trip out into Bedford to investigate!
