We are thrilled to announce that Charlotte Proctor (Year 9) has been selected for the England Regional Lacrosse Academy for 2023-24.

Following exceptional performances for BGS, Charlotte was nominated to attend trials in April with other players across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, which included two days training at St George’s School, Harpenden. After an intense assessment period, Charlotte’s hard work paid off where she was selected for England Regional Lacrosse Academy Under-14 age group.

The Talent Pathway is the route for any individual lacrosse player who aspires to play for England in either men’s or women’s lacrosse. Over the next 12 months, Charlotte will have access to the best possible training and playing environments to fulfil her lacrosse goals.

Charlotte reflected on the selection: "I am absolutely thrilled to have been chosen for this incredible opportunity. The experience was not only challenging but also highly productive in elevating my game to new heights. The invaluable feedback provided by the England Lacrosse coaches has given me confidence in areas where I can further improve my game. I am looking forward to the opportunity and ready for the challenge."
