Following Holly Tutt's outstanding performances at the Welsh Indoor Championships and British Indoor Championships in mid-August, where she secured second and third place, respectively.
The talented alpine skier wrapped up her successful indoor season at the Eastern Region Champs (ERSA) held at the Snozone, Milton Keynes on Sunday 17th September.
In an impressive display of skill, Holly claimed the top spot in the U18 category and secured second place overall among all competitors (with the first-place finisher being U21) in the Slalom event.
Reflecting on her achievement, Holly said: “I am delighted with my performance, especially considering that I was unable to train for most of the summer due to my appendix operation.”
Holly is now gearing up to lead the BGS ski team at the British Schoolgirls' Indoor Championships, scheduled for Sunday 1st October at the Snozone Milton Keynes. Following this event, she will head to Austria in mid-October to commence training for her first year as a FIS racer, competing at the international adult level.
Currently, Holly is a member of the Alpine Performance Racing (APR) team, headquartered in Valdidentro, located just outside Bormio in the picturesque Italian Alps. Her October training camp will take place on the glacier at Hintertux in Austria.
We are so proud of Holly’s achievements and look forward to seeing her outstanding career progress.
