Our next Alumnae Speaker Series will be held in May. The sessions are hosted by Alumnae who deliver talks on a number of topical and thought-provoking subjects.
On the evening of Tuesday 14th May 2024, we are excited to welcome back former award-winning journalist and broadcaster for SKY Sports and now a certified business coach, Anna Allerton (née Edwards, DAHS 2000), who will join us virtually at 8.00pm for an engaging talk on navigating the Perimenopause and Menopause through work and motherhood.
Anna will delve into her career background, shedding light on how it was affected when she started experiencing early perimenopausal symptoms at the age of 38, after the birth of her second child.
In her talk, Anna, who is a leading business consultant and executive coach, will be covering the topic of both the perimenopause and the menopause and how to navigate this significant part of your life, particularly in the workplace. The talk is designed to appeal to a wide- ranging audience: from those personally experiencing it, to those wanting to support their colleagues/employees in the workplace and to others wanting to learn more about this period of transition in a woman’s life. Anna will also discuss hormonal fluctuations and equipping women with the tools to work smarter during the menopause.
This event is free of charge and open to all. Book your place here.
