We are delighted to invite the BGS community to our Alumnae Super Sunday (24th March) event, which will feature First XI Team v Old Girls’ hockey, netball, and lacrosse matches from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The matches will be dedicated to the memory of alumna and former member of staff, Sarah Raven (née Fisher, Bedford High School, 2004) and former Head of PE at Bedford High School from 1951 to 1972, Joan Gibson.

The matches will be held at the Senior School with a sandwich lunch between games for everyone. The event is open to the whole school community to attend - we hope you can attend all or part of the day.

The itinerary is as follows:

9:00 am: Senior School opens.

9:30 am: Netball match begins.

11:15 am: Hockey match begins.

12:30 pm: Sandwich lunch.

1:15 pm: Lacrosse match begins.

3:00 pm: Finish. 

On the day we will be collecting for Sue Ryder St. John’s Hospice, who provided wonderful palliative care to Sarah in her final weeks.
