We are absolutely delighted to celebrate and extend our congratulations to Sixth Form students, Lily Robertson, Nicole Pitter, Erin Schofield Mellor and Gemma Wallington, for their outstanding achievements in the latest RAD Ballet examinations.

Mrs D’Arcy (Visiting Dance Teacher) and I are extremely proud of our students’ achievements, who have trained at BGS for so many years. Achieving success at this high level in RAD Ballet exams requires dedication, discipline, and a passion for dance, along with the ability to balance rigorous academic studies with intensive dance training.

Mr Stratton (Director of Drama and Dance) said: “Well done to Lily, Nicole, Erin and Gemma for their great results in the RAD Ballet exams. Your hard work and dedication have really shown your talent and the excellence we aim for at BGS. Thanks also to Mrs D’Arcy and our team for their support and guidance. Your success highlights the balance of academic and artistic efforts that our school values.”

Responsibly combining their academic exam studies alongside their dance training, our talented students achieved:

  • Lily Robertson: Intermediate (vocational level) with High Merit
  • Erin Schofield Mellor: Grade 8 with High Merit
  •  Nicole Pitter: Grade 8 with High Merit
  • Gemma Wallington: Grade 8 with Merit
