Budding scientists in Year 8 enjoyed a weekend away on the Isle of Wight during half term (Friday 27th-Monday 30th May).
With the aim of the trip to introduce the girls to the field of forensic science, Year 8 explored the coastal habitat on the beaches of the Isle of Wight and participated in a variety of challenging adventurous activities.
Based at PGL’s Little Canada Centre, the activities included abseiling, climbing, high ropes, sailing, kayaking, fencing and tunnelling, while there was also an evening entertainment programme in which the girls participated.
