During the Half Term break, our Years 6 – 10 hockey players enjoyed a two-day masterclass with GBDP hockey player, Lydia Macdonell.

Lydia is a GB Women's Squad player, former England Under 21 (Junior World Cup 2016), senior England indoor player and represents the University of Birmingham in the Premier National League as a forward.

Lydia passed on her knowledge to help the girls with goal scoring and decision making in the final third of the hockey pitch. The sessions were a great success and we are looking to repeat them in the Easter Holidays with another international hockey player.
