The Association has a packed calendar of events for BGS and the wider community, starting with this year’s Christmas Fayre, which takes place this Saturday, 2:00 to 4:30pm.

There will be around thirty stalls selling everything from spices and chillies to handmade scarves and necklaces. Plus there’ll be several choral performances from the Junior School, Bel Canto and Eagle Choirs to get the festive spirit flowing.

The second hand uniform sale will be part of the Fayre as well. Parking is free. Entry is free for children, and £2 per adult, including tea or coffee and a cake. Please come along – family and friends are welcome. For more details, click here.

In the New Year, The Association and Bedford School Prep Guild will be jointly hosting the fourth Burns Night Supper and Dance on Saturday 2nd February 2019 at BGS. Celebrate the life of Scotland’s favourite son and along with a time-honoured supper of haggis, neeps and tatties, there will be entertainment from a traditional piper and the chance to take part in some convivial Scottish dancing (instruction provided!).

The evening begins at 7pm and will close at midnight. Dress is black tie or Scottish attire. Tickets are priced at £40 each and include a welcome drink on arrival, the meal, a tot of whisky and, of course, the entertainment. Wine and beer will be available to purchase both in advance and on the night and guests will be seated on tables of ten. Tickets go on sale from 8am on Monday (3rd December) and no applications will be accepted prior to this.
