Our School community started to feel festive this week as parents and friends of BGS enjoyed a virtual wreath-making workshop hosted by The Association.

Keen not to let COVID restrictions hamper efforts to hold festive events, over 35 foliage kits in a choice of three styles were distributed the participants who, over the course of two hours via Zoom, designed and constructed beautiful festive wreaths under the expert tuition of florist Rachel Dixon.

The wreaths were built by hand on pre-mossed rings, with choices of foliage, accessories and decorations to allow for a truly bespoke finished product. Despite being virtual, the atmosphere was suitably festive and the array of wreaths on show at the end paid testament to the fantastic guidance given by Rachel. Feedback from the sessions has been extremely positive and we look forward to next year when we hope to be able to run the sessions again in person.
