We are so proud of the resilience of our students who are continuing to use their voice to support and campaign for charitable organisations during these challenging times.
Inspirational students, Lara Spajic (Year 7) and Winnie Ralley-Davies (Year 4) have raised funds for the school charity, Bedford Open Door.
During the first lockdown, Lara kindly dropped off lots of her toys that she no longer wanted to Winnie. These included lots of Shopkins toys and accessories. Winnie was thrilled and played with them through first lockdown and the summer.
When Christmas arrived, Winnie decided that she didn’t need them anymore and decided to sell the toys and donate the money to the school charity, Bedford Open Door. Lara was thrilled with this idea and her kind gift enabled Winnie’s kind gift.
The students at no point said they wanted to keep the money for themselves. It’s fantastic the different year groups can help each other and work together.
