As part of the Eco Home Learning activities, girls in the Junior School were asked to help with the CPRE’s Star Count to investigate light pollution across the country.

As well as the girls taking direct action by taking part in this national survey, it was a fantastic opportunity to explore the night skies and its constellations. The count took place during the week before half term and the girls were encouraged to participate with their families to count the stars they could see and then submit their results to the CPRE website.

Daisy, from Year 3, counted 60 stars! Thank you to everyone who participated with this important research.
