Many congratulations to talented alpine skier, Holly Tutt (Year 9), who has been selected for the U16 England Alpine Squad. This announcement follows Holly’s selection for the U14 GB Alpine Ski Team in October 2020.

Like for many athletes, it has been a challenging season for Holly with winter races being cancelled due to COVID restrictions. However, this has not deterred Holly who has been keeping fit through regular drills at home and participating in sport at School. Last week, she started training slalom indoors in the UK and getting used to her new longer skis. Holly is hoping to be able to train on a glacier in Italy this summer.

Holly is now part of the British Ski Academy (BSA), which is based in the Aosta Valley, Italy. The programme provides specialist training to aspiring young ski racers through residential camps, which is supported by a pastoral team.
